National e-Government Contact CenterImportance and objectives of the project:The High Supervision Committee of Yesser e-government Program approved the establishing of National Communication Center for e-government to act as a unified communication liaison and support center for government bodies through various channels, working according to best technical and security specifications. It aims to provide service and respond to public inquiries regarding e-government and its provided technical services for users. The center will serve all users of electronic services, and will depend on various channels of communication to communicate with users of online services, including: (telephone, e-mail, Web, SMS text messages in addition to fax and other means of effective communication media with community), in order to speed the provision of advice, assistance, access and technical support using more than one way. Figure No. (1) shows an overview of National Communication Center for e-government. Targeted beneficiaries:Project aims at providing services to beneficiaries of citizens, residents, business sector, and government agencies. Phases of project:Thanks to God for the completion of the first three phases of this project. The first stage prepared a comprehensive study of local realities and challenges, digested results of best global and regional experiences, and prepared perceptive goals and recommendations. Second stage witnessed preparation of requirements for National Communication Center for e-government, while the third phase has been accomplished by preparing of tender brochure to attract biddings by specialized companies of Saudi market.
