Saudi e-Government Achievement Award

Award Terms of Participation

(In case of any legal issue(s)/dispute(s) the Arabic version of “Award Terms of Participation” will prevail. The English version is for information purpose ONLY)

  1. Applicants Shall Abide by the Following Terms and Conditions.
  2. Those Who can participate
    • All Government Agencies or Semi-government Agencies can apply for nomination to the e-Government Achievement Award in the first five categories.
    • The 6th Category "e-Participation" is for individuals only: citizens and residents.
  3. Method of Nomination
  4. Each Agency shall indicate only one contact "The Official responsible for nominations" and assuring that through this contact all communications and nominations are done. A message confirming the receipt of the application will be sent. In case the confirmation message is not received the "Official responsible for nominations" should contact Tel: 014522405.

    The Nominations Official shall do the following:

    • Select the category or categories of the award which he determines is suitable for his nomination. The jury or the organizing committee has the right to change the category if it is deemed appropriate.
    • Download the Nomination Application Form from the Awards" website and confirm the approval of the Head of the e-government Committee of the Government Agency applying for the nomination of award, noting that this application form is for the first five categories, this excludes the sixth category i.e. "e-Participation".
    • Download the Nomination Form of each project in each category from the award"s website and complete all details of the form for each category of the award where the nomination was done.
    • Completed forms and all other materials and supporting documents shall be attached and sent to: egovaward@yesser.gov.sa.

  5. Materials and Supporting Documents
  6. Participants should send materials and supporting documents—which may contain brochures, photos, and media coverage, studies, or any other supporting documents—via e-mail to egovaward@yesser.gov.sa. If the participant wants to send the materials and supporting documents by mail to the Award Management"s Office, then the following address shall be used:

  7. Terms of Participation
  8. The applicant could apply for more than one category if he has several projects that suite each of the various categories. The applicant has no right to use the same project to apply in more than one category.

  9. Filing Period
  10. Applications sent after the date specified by the Award Jury and shown on the website, will not be considered.

  11. Selection of Winners
    • Winners of the eGovernment Achievement Award are selected by the Award Jury.
    • The Award Jury carries out its work as an independent body and evaluates works on the basis of specific criteria for each category of the award.
    • Members of the Award Jury could ask the participants to come up for review of their projects.
    • The Award Jury has the right to exclude incomplete forms or forms that do not comply with the conditions and terms of the award"s criteria.
    • The Award Jury"s decision is final.
  12. The Prizes:
  13. The prizes are given in accordance with the evaluations of the Award Jury.

  14. Notifying Winners and Publishing Their Names
  15. Winners will be notified through the contact address specified in their application forms; whether mail, telephone or e-mail. Winner’s names will be published on the Awards" website:

  16. Ownership of Participating Projects
  17. The Ownership of all submitted projects belong to the e-Government Achievement Award, they cannot be retrieved, they will be retained, and will not be used for any commercial purpose.

  18. Limitation of Liability
  19. The e-Government Achievement Award does not assume any responsibility for any error, deletion, interruption, cancellation, or delay in sending, or interruption of communications, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to information, or any changes on the projects.

  20. Privacy
  21. Applications are treated confidentially and information will be used for notification of latest development on the Award"s Program and would not be used for any other purpose and would also not be disclosed to any third party, though the Award has the right to make use of information provided for statistical purposes.
